Discipleship / Mentoring

To kick off the beginning of a discipleship culture at Riverstone Chapel, we will hold an interest meeting on Sunday, February 4th at 6:00pm.

We believe God is calling us to be a church where generations step up to lead the following generations and are on this crazy adventure called life together. How could our church look different if people are investing in each other in a way that launches the next generation into a life of walking with Christ and growing closer and closer to Him with each step?

Discipleship is a time of testimony and authentic relationship, where a mentor listens to our struggles weekly and guides us with wisdom and understanding into God’s word. Through times of joy and struggling we can grow deeper in our relationship with the Lord. Are you interested in carrying out the Great Commission and discipline someone and/or be discipled?

(This is just an interest meeting, no commitment neccesary)

Being a mommy is such an incredible gift, but let’s be honest, it isn’t always easy! We absolutely NEED Jesus and each other! Let’s put in the effort to intentionally create space for women to meet with one another to seek the Lord together through His Word and encourage each other to REMAIN in Him as we are in this IMPORTANT season of raising up the next generation! The “Becoming Mom Strong” book and Bible Study by Heidi St. John is aimed to do exactly those things, making seeking God’s Word a non-negotiable! (We are also making it a priority to provide childcare during the group so mama’s can bring their kiddos and still have some quality fellowship and discussion time. For anyone who is able, we will appreciate small donations each week toward the babysitters!)
